Another Layout Using Fab Scraps

Hello, I am back again with a new layout to show you using Fab Scrap papers. These came in the wonderful kit I get from Swirlydoo's! It is another wedding layout and I just love this simple but yet touching picture! I am doing some of the wedding pics in black and white, and then will probably go back and do them again in color if I find the right papers that match. Basically for this layout I did a lot of distressing, layering, and spraying. Really quite simple because for me it's like doing a tag, and I find them easy. Filling up a page is more challenging to me, but to get caught up on pictures you may see me doing more of these.

Materials used:

Fab Scraps Shabby Mix
Fab Scraps Little Darlings
Corrugated cardboard
Doilies
Prima Resin Clocks
Dusty Attic Mini Scrolls
Dusty Attic Blue Bonnet Flowers
Dusty Attic Cornsilk Flowers
Perfect Pearl Mist Forever Blue
Dylusions Ink Spray White Linen
Lindys Mist Frozen Jack Frost
Tim Holtz Distress Ink Stormy Sky

Here's my layout:

I hope you enjoy it, and thank you for stopping by.

A New Layout Using Fab Scraps

I am back again with a new layout to share. I started getting my monthly kits from Swirlydoo's again and January's kit had some very pretty Fab Scrap papers. For this layout I chose the softer colors, because the picture I am using is from my youngest son's wedding. This is the first of many wedding photos you will see.

In the kit there was a package of tiny mirrors. Unfortunately, you don't get the full effect in the picture. The silver of the mirrors is so very pretty. I wrapped pearls around them because I did not like them plain.

Here is my layout:

Materials used:

Fab Scraps Shabby Birds
Fab Scraps Shabby Chairs
Fab Scraps Chic Mix
White cardstock
Memory Keepers Punch
Martha Stewart Heart Punch
Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch
Spellbinders Foliage Dies
Liquid Pearls-Silver Pearl
Tim Holtz Distress Ink- Iced Spruce
Gesso
Prima Cling Mount Stamps- Item #551056 and #555115
Prima Resin-Clock
Prima Bronte Blooms
Petaloo Mixed Blooms
mirrors

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look!

I'm Baaack!!!

I am finally back to scrapping after a very loooong break! Life was getting so hectic and I really needed to take a break. The most important thing that happened during that time was that my youngest son got married. I am so happy for him.

Anyway, I am finally ready to get back to scrapping. The layout I am about to share with you has been on my desk for months. I did attempt to scrap during my time off but really had no time to devote to it. I can stare at a layout for hours and get absolutely nowhere, but now I should have time to get back in the game.

For this layout I used Graphic 45's, A Ladies Diary collection. It's so pretty! I have plans for the rest of the paper that I hope will come to fruition! You will want to see if it does! Love this paper!!

To create this layout I cut most of my accents out of the paper. Such as the flowers and clocks. I added a few chippies, and did a lot of punching. I hope you enjoy it.
