A Christmas Layout with Basic Grey and Spellbinders

Hello again! The layout I have to share with you today was made using the Basic Grey nordic holiday collection. I used a variety of punches. One of my favorites is the Martha Stewart around the page snowflake punch. I also used the scalloped border punch made by EK Success. The snowflakes scattered on the layout were done with an older Martha Stewart punch. Now for the circles at the top and the bottom of the layout I used the Spellbinders Heart circles templates. I love these!! Tehn again I love anything made by Spellbinders. I also used a template from the Spellbinders Foliage collection. The trees were cut with my cricut using the Winter Frolic cart. I then used the swirl cuttlebug folder to give them some depth. The bling flourishes are made by Want 2 Scrap. I  used alcohol inks to dye them green. Some of the flowers are Prim,a and the rest are some I have had for awhile now. Not sure where I got them. And of course the picture is of my grandaughter. Here are some close-ups and the layout.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have a joyous New Year!

A simple layout with My Mind's Eye

I have a very simple layout to show you using My Mind's Eye Lost and Found Breeze collection. I used sketch #61 from the Sketchabilities blog. Here's the sketch:

I wanted to do something simple for a change, and I figured a guy layout would fit the bill. I find them a little difficult to do anyway since I love to use flowers. All the papers I used are from the collection. I did use my nestabilties for the scalloped circles. Though I did have to use my cricut for the biggest circle. Anyway, there's not much to tell sincee this is pretty basic.

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Holidays!

Merry Christmas Layout with My Mind's Eye

I have another layout to share using My Mind's Eye, Lost and Found Christmas collection. I really love the Lost and Found collections. I do hope they keep them coming! There is not a paper in any of the collections that I would not use. Everything on this layout is from the collection. I did use my cricut to cut the Christmas tree. The tree is from the Christmas Noel cartridge. I used my gypsy to hide all the cuts that would otherwise be all over the tree. Then I added some gold beaded string to it to act as garland. I used gold ribbon to string Merry Christmas. The Santa was fussy cut out of the paper. The picture is of my grandaughter of course. I was finally able to get her to stand still long enough to take a picture in front of the tree. I think it is adorable, but then I am biased. LOL! Here it is:

Follow your Dreams with Bo Bunny

Hi again! I seem to be getting my mojo back. Here is another layout using Bo Bunny's Gabrielle collection. It is a simple layout but I love it! I used the rub-ons that came with the  collection. I also fussy cut the big butterfly at the top.  I used the Wild Card cartridge to create the triangle pattern next to the photo, and then I used my gypsy and the Calligraphy cartridge to do the title work. All of the flowers are Prima. I almost went with peach and aqua colored flowers, but decided I liked this soft look better. The photo is of my niece.

A layout with Prima and Spellbinders

Hi everyone! I have a new layout to show you using Prima's Madeline collection. The chipboard flourish is from Unique Pages. First I inked it white and then splotch inked it with blue. I then lightly sprayed it with smooch spritz and added the bling diamonds. I used all Prima flowers from the Pixie Glen collection. On a few of them I used stickles and then I smooch spritzed a few more. I stitched in white around the 12 x 12 page and then I stitched in brown on the two smaller sheets of paper.  The two bigger butterflies were punched with Martha Stewar tpunches. The smallest one was a dollar bin buy. Now the fun part was using my new Spellbinder Lacy Tag dies with the nestabling bling from Want 2 Scrap! I love them!!! I need more bling now! LOL! I love the effect of the pearls on the tag!! These are definitely must have scrap goodies!   I also used some pearls to string around the bottom. You can grab those at any Joann's fabrics. Okay, enough of my chatter. Here's the layout and closeups.

Jingle Bells with Bo Bunny

I have a layout to share with you using Bo Bunny's Father Christmas collection. Wow! I love the papers! They have the colors that I associate with Christmas! It's not Christmas without red, green and gold! This collection hit the spot! For this layout I used the new Martha Stewart snowflake punch, which I love! I wish I could tell you where the bells were from, but I have had them a few years. The chipboard poinsettias are from Unique Pages. I inked them and stickled the flowers. The picture is of my grandaughter. She carried those snowmen all through the house and thinks they are her dolls.  I had to get a pic of her with them, since they are almost as big as her!
