Swirlydoo's Sketch Challenge using Bo Bunny

I had a doozy of a time with this layout. I very rarely do multi pic layouts. I seem to get lost or something. I really don't know what my problem is when it comes to doing them. Anyway, I tore this layout apart a couple of times. I finally decided that this would have to do. I used the Jan kit from Swirlydoo's and I used their sketch. I love the Bo Bunny paper!! I did some stamping and used some glimmer mists. Well, I hope you like it.

You are the song in my heart

I have another layout to show you using the Bo Bunny Enchanted collection. It is wedding themed paper, but I have used it for my own theme. Previously I did a vintage layout, and now I am using it for my grandaughter. With this layout I started out using a sketch by Beggahuna, but it looks nothing like the sketch. Well, maybe in the middle it does. I only had a few of the Bo Bunny papers left so I wanted to finish them off. I also used a few old flowers. They may not be pretty, but I wasn't about to throw them away. You probably can't tell but I did spray the black ones with some smooch to give them a little sparkle. I used some Dusty Attic chipboard that looks like chicken wire and painted it black with smooch. The bottom flourish was created using my cricut and the Home Decor cartridge. The top flourish is made by Want 2 Scrap. Around the edges of the paper I used black distress stain.  Anyway, this layout took a whole new direction from when I started. Not sure if the design is cohesive, but it is growing on me. I started gluing things down and then wanted to change it, but it was too late, so I have to live with it. I hope you enjoy it and that it gives you some inspiration.

Spring Journal with Webster's

I have an altered composition book to share with you today. It is for  a swap at scrapbook.com.  I wasn't going to post it, because I am thinking about changing the flowers and making my own daisies. On the other hand I sure do want to start on another layout. If I do end up changing the flowers I will post it again. Anyway, I used Webster's paper for the journal. It is Count Your Blessing from theWonderfall collection. I am always creating vintage items and wanted to do something different for a change. Since I am not real fond of cold weather, I saw this and it reminded me of spring.
That's also why you are listening to the Beach Boys right now.  I want the warm weather back!!
Okay on to the journal. The paper and the bloomers are obviously Webster's. The butterflies are some I copied from Swirlydoo's. The die cut was made using one of Spellbinder's Lacy Tag dies, along with Want 2 Scrap pearls that are made to fit the die cut. It was a very easy journal to make and I sure hope the recipient loves it! Here ya go:

I hope this has inspired you to alter an item!

Prima Printery

Well I am back with another layout. This time I used the Prima Printery collection. Oh what a time I had with these papers. I thought I was going to pull my hair out!  I think it was the lack of color. So I distressed and spritzed and distressed. I thought the flowers were pretty bland too, so I added some white Prima flowers to the mix and distressed the petals. I wanted some leaves and used my Spellbinders Foliage dies. Can you tell, I am on a Spellbinders kick here lately. I do tend to run things into the ground, but I am in love with their dies! After I cut  the leaves I added some distress stickles. I used my Cricut Experssion and the George and Basic Shapes cart for the circles. I have run that cart in the ground too! I love using circles. This layout looks alot like some others I have done, but I do love the design. I created the look for the  hinge or whatever you call that thing at the top, by staining it black and then sanding. Next I applied Vintage Photo distress ink.  I added a few of the Prima Printery chipboard pieces, and used their stamp for Time Flies, which is the title of the layout.
I also used alcohol ink to create a light green color on the bling flourish, which is made by Want 2 Scrap. Anyway, that is all there is to it. Not sure how much I like this one, but I am glad to have it done! here are some close ups and the layout.

I hope I was able to inspire you! Thanks for dropping by.

Heritage Layout with Bo Bunny

I am back with another layout. I sure hope my mojo keeps on working. I am really putting out the layouts lately. Though this for this layout I did use a sketch by Suepup. The whole idea for this came from a challenge I am in at Sb.com. It's the January Heritage challenge and you had to use mostly black and white. Well it just so happened I had just purchased the Bo Bunny Enchanted collection last week. I love this line and think I am going to get more of it this week. The lamppost is a Dusty Attic chipboard piece that my sweet dh gave me for Christmas. The foliage looking piece is made by Unique Pages. I'm not sure if they are still in business. I'll have to check it out. I used some Spellbinder Dies to create flowers this time. They are from the Donna Salazar line. Here are some picture of the dies.

I can see myself using these over and over again! I used my cricut and the George and Basic Shapes cartridge to cut the circle. The quote and the corset are stamps made by The Rubber Cafe. Everything else is pretty basic.

I hope I have inspired you! Thanks for stopping by!
