Hello, hope you all are having a wonderful day! I know I have been since I have been scrapping. Today I have a layout to share using Bo Bunny's Gabrielle collection. I made the large die cut paper with a Martha Stewart corner punch by punching all around the paper. The brown leafy vines were cut with the cricut using the Calligraphy cartridge. The flowers were cut with the Mother's Day Bouquet cartridge. But then I had to shape them to make them the way you see them now. After they were all shaped and put together I sprayed them with Pearl Mist. I love how they turned out! The flower centers are bling from the Gabrielle collection, as are the metal butterflies. The picture is of my sweet grandaughter of course. I had to make it a black and white because the color she was wearing clashed with this collection. But I think it turned out well. Well have a look and have a great evening!

Bo Bunny's Crazy Love
I finally have a new layout to share. I haven't been in the scrapping mood lately. My youngest son is stationed in Japan. When the news broke about the earthquake and tsunami I was in a panic. I found out right away he was okay, but when that nuclear plant started having problems I was glued to the news. I finally heard from my son today and everythng is A-OK. So now I can relax and go on about my life. You know how us mother's are, we worry, and we don't stop until we know everything is okay!
Now as for my layout, it is for an ongoing challenge I am in at sb.com. Every month I get a chipboard die cut made by 3tailscraft. This one was beautiful. Though because of the size I had a little difficulty. Hopefully you will still like my design. The papers were from the Bo Bunny Crazy Love collection. I also used rub-ons and dimensional stickers from the same collection. As is my habit, I added lace and used a border punch. The punch was the Martha Stewart Doily Lace border punch. It is my favorite of hers! I also used some Prima pearls on the chipboard. I have wanted to scrap these pictures for some time but could never find the right pink and brown. This collection was perfect, even if it was meant for Valentines Day. The baby is my sweet grandaughter and her sister. How cute are they?! Well here ya go, and thanks for stopping by!

Altered Wooden Letters
I altered these wooden letters for a swap that I am in on scrapbook.com. If you follow my blog, then you know I love swaps. My partner liked browns and teal/turquoise, so this is what I came up with. I took on quite a task adding the pearls, but I thought it needed something on the edges of the letters. The gathers under the lace is a sheer ribbon. The butterflies were made with a Martha Stewart punch, some crystal stickles, and Martha Stewart white glitter. Hope you enjoy these letters, and thanks for stopping by.
First March Challenge at Bettter Scrap
We had to scrap a bad day, and I couldn't think of anything worse than my accident a few years ago. Not something I like to remember, but my back always reminds me. Just this past week I lost a lot of sleep because of the pain. Anyway, no more self pity. Behind the pictures of my lo I have hidden journaling. Keep in mind the end of the journaling I did for my two sons, who seem to be infatuated with those little Hondas that I think are death traps! Well here's the layout:
And here is the journaling. I am not much of a writer.

This is a day I will never forget! I still suffer from the effects of this accident. It was February 20, 2009 when I was sitting at a red light, waiting to cross Highway 17. I was on my way to pick Clark up from the high school. He was a senior and got out early everyday. Well, the light turned green and I proceeded to go across, mind you, this big truck I was driving didn't have a lot of get up and go. I was almost to the center, when for a brief second I saw another vehicle coming at me on the drivers side. I didn't even have time to react. Next thing I knew, my head was hitting the drivers side door. The truck was spinning and I hit my head again, and then I was out. Not sure how long, but help arrived and I was on my way to the hospital. I am very lucky since in that area there is a 55 mph speed limit. Most people go 60-65. I do believe my big truck saved me, with a lot of help from God. I am thankful I survived! I also know I will never own a small vehicle after this accident. If I had been in something small, I would be dead. Forget gas prices, life means more!
