Heaven Sent

Oh I had lots of fun doing this layout. It is a photo of my grandaughter the day she was born. I poured my heart and soul into this layout. The pink papers are from Tim Holtz's new paper line and there is lots of Prima flowers and bling to make you ooo and ahh! I used punches, stamps, distress inks and just kept adding more and more. I really love the way it turned out.

Dashing

Used the flip side of the Graphic 45 A Proper Gentleman collection. Absolutely love G45. Can't go wrong with their papers.

My Guest DT Layout for My Little Sketch Book

I loved getting a chance to work with Liz Qualman's sketch. This is a first in a series of three sketches that I will be working on. For this layout I used K and Company's Specialty Paper stack by Carolyn Gavin. I have loved this stack and have almost depleted it. The flowers in the sqaures on top were cut from the paper and the white scalloped squares were cut with my cricut expression. The bigger flowers are Prima and the smaller ones are Petaloo. For the title I used Thickers.

Here is the sketch:

Daddy's Girl

It was my turn to do a layout for the Thursday sketch on the Pages in Time blog. It is a gorgeous sketch. I didn't use ribbon because I wanted to see the whole picture. I chose Graphic 45 paper because I had a vision as soon as I saw the sketch. I know a lot of you love the Graphic side of the G45 papers, but I love the other side as well. I used a variety of their papers but mostly the A proper gentlemen collection which can be purchased at PIT. I used three different punches. Fiskars threading water punch, Martha Stewart's Doily punch, and a scallop punch from stamping up. Most everything else is Prima. Love that  border!!

Sweet

Another layout using the Pages in Time Thursday sketch. I used Prima and Harlequin papers on this layout. But the stitching on the Prima paper is all mine! I was pretty proud of that, but then again it is easy to NOT sew a straight line. I admit I struggled with this one a bit, but I can live with the final result. I was trying to make a less bulky layout and didn't realize how hard it would be. Seems I need to start trying to do that more often!

Egg Hunt

I used the April 1st thursday sketch on the Pages in Time blog for this layout. I loved this sketch. I also used Basic Grey's Green at Heart collection. Love this collection! It just fell together. And my prima flowers went with it so well. It was like they were made for each other! I did a lot of border punching, because, well I love punches! I use them all the time! One of my all time favorite tools. What I like most about this layout is the fence. I used my Cricut expression and my new Heritage cartridge. Love love love it!

Cards for Lennon

Please take the time to read..

Lennon is a 3 1/2 yr old cutie! He is the grandson of Karen (my friend who I design for at Pages in Time). Lennon has been fighting brain tumors which are cancerous. He was tumor free for awhile.

However..

Lennon went back for his MRI the other day and dr's have found that, not only has his tumor resurfaced, but he has 3 of them. Dr's have given Lennon a 20% chance of survival.

The Design Team at PIT is like a small family and when something affects one of us, it seems to affect us all. We would love to have you join us in lifting Lennon's spirits in a project we're starting.."Cards for Lennon". I don't know if any of you have seen the movie "Miracle of the Cards" but it is a similar story.

Cards are an amazing way to lift someone's spirit..to let them know that you care about them. Let us show Lennon that we are praying for him! That people do care!

Please send your cards to:

Amanda and Lennon Hunt

5649 South 31st Street Apt 5

Lincoln NE 68516

Thanks so much..keep praying!!

I truly believe no matter what your religion/beliefs are...prayer affects us all. So please please pray for this child..let us claim that he is that 20%!!

Please take the time to send Lennon a card to cheer him up...to cheer up his family who is having such a hard time with this news. Most of us couldn't even imagine what they're going thru.

This is Lennon and mom..isn't he just the sweetest!
