I am in a tag/lace swap. This is my first tag. Only three more to go. I didn't plan on using black, but it really seemed to work better than green. I used my George and Basic shapes cartridge to cut the tag on my cricut. Most of the shapes were cut with punches I have had forever. I have never been big into tags. I am more of an ATC collector, so I decided to combine the two. I love it! I have more room to add more things. Think I see more tags in my future! Thanks for stopping by! Hope you have a Happy New Year!!

Christmas of Wonder
Here is a layout of my adorable grandaughter. I love this picture and was looking for the right design. I found it when I saw Luzma's Christmas in Chile layout. I used Bo Bunny's St Nick collection. I love the colors! The border punches I used are Martha Stewart's Modern Garland and Doily Lace. The circles were punched with a Creative Memories punch. The tree was cut with the cricut using the shadow feature in Christmas Cheer. The poinsettias are made by Prima, and the letters are American Crafts Thickers. If you love my layout enough to leave a comment, please stop by Luzma's blog and leave her some love too! Thanks for stopping by!

Time with Grandma
I just finished this layout today. I used a a mishmash of Graphic 45 papers. There's Steampunk, Fashionista, On the Boardwalk, and Le Romantique. Wasn't sure I could make it work, but I love the end result. I used some of the wonderful chipboard cuts that I found in a scrapstore in Vegas. I love this clock and will have to find some more of this wonderful stuff! I added some border punching with the Martha Stewart quilted lace punch. The flowers were again made with my cricut using the George and Basic shapes cartridge. Except this time I cut three sizes for each flower. I always ink my flowers and then trace on them and add stamens. It may not look good when you are doing it, but it will look really nice when the flower is put together. The design is totally mine. It started out simple and then I just kept adding. Hope you enjoy it.

Windows to the Past
I finally have a layout to share with you. It was made for a Guest Design Team spot at http://lizqualman.blogspot.com/. For the spot, you had to do a layout using the sketch she created. And what an awesome sketch! It was incredibly easy to work with. For this layout I decided to use some old family photos. They are pictures of my Great Great Grandparents. It's as if they knew they would be scrapbooked one day!! I had to play with the photo of my grandmother, because my aunt had tried colorizing it and she looks a little rough around the edges. But all in al,l I love the pictures. With old pictures you have to use heritage type papers, and I chose Graphic 45's Renaissance collection. As always, I use the flip side of the graphics. I just love the colors and patterns! I added some black border punching to make it stand out. Gotta love Martha Stewart punches!! And lastly, I made the flowers with my cricut expression. I used the George and Basic Shapes cart. I cut the flower at two different sizes and layered. I think this layout came out beautiful! I hope you enjoy it!
