To have and to hold

For this layout I used the Basic Grey capella collection and boy, do I love it! For the frame I used the nesties I got from Penny Duncan Creations. I am really starting to get the knack of SCAL thanks to her tutorials. As always I used border punches. Both are made by Martha Stewart. For the flowers I used the George and Basic Shapes cart. Inked them and then used a white signo pen to draw on them. The centers are buttons. I also used a Martha Stewart butterfly punch.  The butterflies I inked and added some pearls. The green flourishes are from the Heritage cartridge. The bling is Prima. Hope this helps with any questions you might have, if not leave a comment and I will try to answer your question.

  1. This is absolutely breathtakingly beautiful! I am just getting back into scrapping and there are so many new machines and tools. I purchased a Big Shot Express and am having fun playing with it. Do you love your Cricut? I really don't know much about them. Your work is lovely. Thank you for sharing.

  2. Thanks for the response. Is it worth purchasing the kits in your experience? The shppg is so spendy!

You are doing a great job of getting your pictures done. I had to smile when you mentioned about having a granddaughter to inherit all of your things! Fortunately I do have a 10 year old granddaughter that loves all of the artsy and craftsy things I do.
You can see some of my accomplishments on wwww.lindalynch.com

I look forward to seeing more of your artwork.
