Christmas Past

This is my first vintage style layout. I did it for a design team challenge at Pages in Time. I used Graphic 45 Christmas Past collection. I normally like some balance to my layouts but I had fun with this. I think I could improve on this style if I did a few more.

Very simple layout using the Bittersweet collection from basic Grey. Also used the apron lace punch made by Fiskars. I really loved using all those pink colors and even though it is a simple layout, I loved how it turned out!

New card, different paper

Okay, I never had time to post this, but it is a card I made using DCWV Holiday Stack. I just loved the blue snowflake paper. I couldn't help myself and made brown snowflakes. They looked so good with the paper. I hope you like it too!

Yet another Christmas card

Yep, I made another one and yes I used Graphic 45 papers again. I almost always use my cricut expression too and this card was no exception. The Winter Woodlands cart has the holly leaf that I used to make this wreath. I used the George and Basic shapes cart on the silhouette feature to cut out a circle as a guide to put the holly leaves in a circle. Voila! But I must say this card takes time, so plan on a whole afternoon to make this baby!

Another Christmas Card

I thought I could improve on the previous card and I think I have done that. I love the smaller circle and the holly going around the circle! And as always, I love this paper line of paper by Graphic 45!

Christmas Card using Graphic 45

This is fast becoming another one of my favorite paper lines! I used the Graphic 45 Christmas Past collection and my Cricut Expression to create this card. I think it has such a days gone by feel to it, and brings back the charm of Christmas' Past.

Christmas Plaque using Graphic 45 Christmas Past collection papers

This plaque just screamed at me to be created. My goodness, Graphic 45 did most of the work for me! The Santa they created is awesome!!

I Love Graphic 45 Papers!!!

Their designs are fantastic and I find them so easy to work with! I have already purchased their Christmas papers and can't wait to start playing with them! For this layout I cut what I wanted out of the paper designs. I also did a lot of border punching using Fiskars apron lace punch and a Martha Stewart 3-dot punch. For the frame I used Fiskars threading water border punch, but what I loved most was when I used twine and weaved it in and out of the punched circles! It worked perfectly with the papers!

Another layout using K and Co papers

This time I used the Ancestry.com collection. These papers are great for vintage pages! I am still not used to doing those type of pages, but I think I pulled it off. I also used a lot of Tim Holtz products. Distressing inks, mask, key, and lock and the cut and dry foam that I used to apply the ink. I love his products and they worked so well with this K and Co collection!

Fancy Pants Designs

I used the All Fall Fancy Pants Design papers for this layout! It's another very simple design, but you have to make some simple, if you ever expect to get through those piles of photos. I also used some Thickers and a Martha Stewart border punch.

More fun with K and Company specialty papers

Very simple layout. I cut the flourish design out of the paper and then used gold stickles on the edge. I cut a circle using my Cricut expression and attached the Prima flowers to the edge. A couple of strips of paper at the bottom, one with a border punch, some bling and a title and you are done. Simple, easy layout! You just have to wait on the stickles to dry.

Prom Night with Prima flowers and flourishes

Had a lot of fun with this layout. I love working with blue and black colors and the white really set it off. You have to love the gorgeous flowers made by Prima and the rhinestone flourish.

Fall Fun with K and Co

I used the Que Sera Sera stack by K and Co for this layout. It worked perfectly for a fall layout. I also used the white signo uniball pen to do faux stitching around the circle.

It's a Girl!!!

I am going to be a grandmother in April, and just found out that it is a girl!! I am ecstatic since I had boys. I finally get to buy pink and lace and ribbons, and best of all do baby girl layouts!! Think i might need to do some shopping before my grandaughter gets here. Hehehe!

This will soon be mine!

I can't wait until this baby gets here!! I also can't wait to have stitching on my scrapbook pages!
I got a good deal on this at SewVacDirect.com.

Little Diva

My first attempt at lollipop flowers. I should have layered more and bent them inward. you can bet they will be better next time!

All that and more

I really loved the colors of this layout. I tried to fill the page, but yet make the photo the focus.

Fiskar's border punches

I used a Fiskar's border punch on all of the above layouts. I love them! I want them all! You simply must try them! You can use them to frame your picture or you could use it as a border for the whole layout. Or you could just use it on one side of a picture like I did with U hold the key to my heart.

Pure Love

Another layout inspired by the talented Liz Qualman! I used the Basic Grey porcelain collection for the papers, and the coordinating Basic Grey chipboard. Not too thrilled with the way the chipboard looks. Maybe it needs to grow on me.

Faith

This layout was so easy and was inspired by a sketch by Liz Qualman. She has a great talent! I had a lot of fun making this and it went together so fast.

Martha Stewart stacks

My dear husband bought me a couple of Martha Stewart stacks of paper for Christmas and I almost returned them. I am so glad that I didn't. I just completed a Christmas layout using her papers and I am so happy with it!
