Little Tink

Hello! Today I have a layout to share using the Bo Bunny Vicki B collection. It has been laying around forever in need of a title. Today I finally finished it. I lifted this design from Janis Medina Maghinay. I can't find her layout but I know I lifted it from her. I used one of my We R Memory Keepers punches and then used a white pen to make the design pop.The flowers were fussy cut from the paper.

The photo is of my granddaughter last Halloween.

An Angel from Heaven

I have another layout to share, and boy did I have fun with this one! It took on a life of it's own. The papers are all from my July Swirlydoo's kit. I mixed a couple of Pion papers with a Kaisercraft paper, and then added white cardstock. I started by using my We R Memory Keepers Fancy Scroll Lucky 8 punch. I then added silver liquid pearls along the edges. I wanted a little more so I added more liquid pearls in the centers. Next I cut one of the Pion papers down to a 10x10 piece sheet. I again used the same Lucky 8 punch. I added a Dusty Attic flourish. I used a green and silver smooch to get that color. The flowers are a mixture of Petaloo and Dusty attic, with one being so old I can't remember where I got it  or who made it. The butterflies are also from Petaloo. I used some Spellbinders for the flourishes among the flowers. I did add lace but you can barely see it now. I just kept adding and adding. I was planning on giving this layout to my son, but I just may have to keep it and put it in a shadowbox. I had a hard time getting a good picture, because the gray/bluish flowers kept coming out so dark. Anyway, this was the best picture I could get.

It's the Little Moments

Hello again! I have another Design Team post for Just Imagine Crafts. To find out which punches I used, please go to their blog. I used a sketch from Swirlydoos  and the monthly kit I get from them . This will also be my entry for their monthly Swirlyhues challenge. The photo is of my granddaughter last year when we were at the zoo. She loved watching the geese. The little things made her happier than the big ones.

Here's my layout:

CHA Was Totally Awesome!!

I had a fantastic time with the Swirlygirls at CHA!! I can't even begin to describe how inspiring it is to see everything in person! I saw Tim Holtz demonstrating his products. I actually met and talked with Anna Dabrowska. What a genuinely sweet person!! I took a ton of pictures but I am only showing my top picks!

Here's my favorite of me and the Swirlygirls!

This is Lisa Gregory at the DCWV booth.

Their booth is soo cool!

Here are some pictures from the Fab Scraps booth.

Here are some photos from the G45 booth.

This is from Connie's Crystals. What she does with them is awe inspiring!! The picture does not do the dress justice!

Adorable You (Swirlyhues Challenge)

Today I have my entry for this months Swirlyhues challenge at Swirlydoo's. I used this months Antiquities kit. I love this kit!! Everything in it is beautiful!
For the challenge I had to use one of the tutorials on the Swirlydoo's site. I used Pascale's Coventry Rose tutorial. All the punches used were Martha Stewart Punches. The leaves were created with the Foliage Spellinder dies. I used a mixture of the papers when making the leaves. I love the effect! I used four mini flourishes made by Dusty Attic. As is my habit lately, I used liquid pearls. The photo of course, is of my sweet granddaughter.

Here's my layout:

And here are some closeups:

The brown flower in the middle is the one I made using the tutorial. It doesn't look like hers but I still like it!
