Denim Pocket Art

I am in another swap, and this time we are using denim pockets. I have finished one and only have one more to go.  Denim makes me think of the 1940's and Norman Rockwell. So, I went on the web searching for some Norman Rockwell art that I could work with. I love this image. It is so sweet, and I do believe it is perfect for a denim pocket. I used lace, pearls, flowers and burlap.  There's also some old patterned paper that I have probably had for years. So you may want to hang on to that old paper. You never know when you may need it! I used a Martha Stewart punch for the sprigs under the flowers. That's pretty much it. Now here's the finished product. I hope you enjoy, and thanks for stopping by!

Graphic 45 and Le Romantique

I am on a mission to use my G45 papers. They are coming out with some beautiful new lines, and I figured I had better use them up so I can justify buying more. For this layout I used the Le Romantique collection. Though some of the peach/pink paper is from Once Upon a Springtime. I only had a few of Romantique and thank goodness the Springtime collection has some of the same tones. I also made my flowers again using the George and Basic Shapes cart. These flowers are perfect for having a less bulky layout. I loved adding the lace and ribbon and pearls. I also used a Martha Stewart border punch.Other than that I distressed and inked. The layout is of my Grandfather and Grandmother. They actually didn't stay married that long. They had two children and then divorced. Not very common back then, but I guess they had their reasons. Well I hope you enjoy it, and thanks for stopping by!

Working with Graphic 45

Here's a lo in green using the Renaissance Faire collection. I used the Martha Stewart Doily Lace, Modern Garland and Garden Trellis punches. The bottom part of the flowers were cut with the cricut ecpression using the George and Basic Shapes cart. The top of the flowers are a punch. The branches are a punch too. The fence is a wooden piece I bought at Michael's. Last but not least is that wonderful clock. You can find them at uniquepages.com . Thanks for stopping by!

Final Tag

Here's the final tag in the swap. Okay, I lost steam on this one and it is not my favorite, but I still like it. I used Kaisecraft for the papers and Prima flowers. I am sure you are tired of hearing about these tags so going to make it short and sweet. Thanks for stopping by.

Fashionista Tag

This is tag three for the tag/lace swap. The image is one I got months ago at Pages in Time. I don't think you can find it there anymore, but if you want to check out the site, the tag is located on my sidebar. As stated in previous posts, I cut the tag with my cricut using the George and Basic Shapes cartridge. The flourishes are from the Home Decor cart. I cut what I needed off the flourish. The black flowers are made by Petaloo and the red flowers are Recollections that I bought at Michaels. The Papers are Basic Grey. I only have one more to make! Then hopefully I can work on my mini Christmas album using Bo Bunny's Noel collection.  Thanks again for stopping by!

Correction

Okay I boo booed. I said I cut the Eiffle Tower with French Manor. That was wrong. I cut it with Summer in Paris. Ugh! I cut out both and liked the Summer in Paris one better. Sorry for the error!

Mona Lisa Tag

Here is the second tag for the lace tag swap I am in. I have been wanting to do a Mona Lisa ATC for quite awhile but  never quite get around to it. This swap provided a way for me to work with that image. I loved every bit of it. I had a hard time at first but then I just kept adding to it. I used my cricut expression to cut the tag and the Eiffel Tower. You can find the tag on the George and Basic Shapes cartridge, and the Eiffel Tower on French Manor. Though only cricut circle members have French Manor. Perhaps you can find one on ebay. I loved the addition of the feathers on this. I used a punch for the flowers and leaves.  Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you are having a Happy New Year!
